Song Confessional Live
Song Confessional Live is coming to the Long Center on Wednesday, April 2nd!
AUSTIN FAM!
Block off your calendars on 4/2 for an evening of confessions and live music hosted by your favorite podcasters!!
While Zac’s on tour, Walker’s taking the lead solo, guiding everyone on a journey full of anonymous stories, some bad jokes, hopefully some good jokes, a lot of laughter and maybe even a few tears. Live performances by Rayland Baxter, Tameca Jones and Jackson Scribner; playing original songs inspired by a few of our favorite confessions.
Rayland is a Tennessee-born singer/songwriter whose sound floats between alternative, indie and country. On his most recent album he worked and recorded with some of the best including Shakey Graves, Zac Cockrell of Alabama Shakes, Motown drummer Bobbye Jean Hall, and even some pedal steel work from his late father, Bucky, who performed with Bob Dylan.
Tameca is an American soul and R&B singer from right here in Austin, TX. If you haven’t caught one of her shows, do512 paints the picture as “honey dripping, hip gyrating, slow pulsing pimped out jazz, rock, pop, and soul tunes. Come into Momma’s kitchen.” If that doesn’t get you excited I don’t know what will.
Jackson is Texas born musician from the small town of Melissa, TX. State Fair Records describes his style as “melodic and poetic - pierces the folk-rock arrangements, and in turn, a listener's heart.”
We’re ecstatic about this star-studded lineup! Bring your partner, parents, co-workers, or that one person you’ve been wanting to ask on a date and join us at The Long Center on Wednesday, April 2nd!
See you there!
